no sorry can not help you there as I plugged the pipe going from the exhaust and removed the valve and ground everything out with a dye grinder so the throat is unrestricted and plugged the vacuum tube just don't like the idea of dirty exhaust gases going through the inlet side
disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,
detriot locker, lsd front,C.D.L kit, chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift, rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.

Yep, I plugged mine up too, it was going chug chug chug!!! after the engine was turned off. Something was wrong. I pulled the two vacuum tubes off, got two little threaded bolts, dipped them in silicon and screwed them into the ends of the tubes. I believe you need to cap these otherwise the ECU gets confused. No issues since, hasn't effected anything else.

Mine doesn't work. There's a blockage in the pipe, no idea how that got there.

Looks like I'll go down this route. Devon 4x4 in the UK do a really nice looking EGR replacement kit, might import one and get rid of the whole lot..
