If you get stuck, Repco (and probably other auto shops) sell harnesses to suit the Eurovox radios.
They were also fitted to other local cars so maybe a trip to the wreckers might yield one.
Has anybody got one they dont want or will sell? My CD player cooked recently so I am putting the original LR/Eurovox rad/cass (98 tdi) back in for a while--only thing is I have lost the plug![]()

yep tried supercheap and autobarn-can get same plugs but different config's for Commodores. Will give repco a try today.thanks
So you removed the link lead between the Eurovox radio & the LR harness then ?
If you need a replacement link lead, then you'll probably have to get one from Eurovox in Melbourne. This will have one end to fit the LR harness & the other end to fit the Eurovox radio.
I thought you'd have cut into the link lead to fit the CD player. Then you could have just hooked up the easily obtainable harness & made your own link lead.

I just identified what wires do what, cut the all the wires going into the original plug, joined them to the new one and plugged it in-seemed logical at the time-now I have sfa.:and not gonna spend $200 on anothe unit for a while
So you cut into the link lead then. Remove it & take it down to the auto shop.
Hopefully, you can see if the wire colours match up with the replacement radio harness.
If they do, you're in luck.
If they don't, it might be easier to give Eurovox a call & see if they can supply a replacement link lead for a Discovery with your model radio.
Any Disco's in wrecking yards near you ?
It wouldn't be a common part that everyone wants.

1. AERPRO make a converter harness ( European ISO to each particular unit) costs about $20. Euro ISO is what those two plugs you have left are.
look here:
http://aerpro.com/vrg.php
2. Go back to where you saw the plug for commodore, see what plug fits your eurovox - although not mentioned, one of the one's mentioned on the web page should fit. I know Supercheap will order 1 in, takes about a week.
so the link lead goes from 2 plugs further back, too the plug that goes into the player right? So I should be able to get a complete linkl lead from a wreck somewhere. Supa cheap were not helpful, neither were autobarn. I will chase up one from a wreck when I get around to it.
thanks

He is wrecking a Disco at the moment...he was in the process of taking the dash off last Saturday. He can post it to you.
If he has the right one it will probably be about half new price and mention you saw this on the AULRO forum

Whilst this probably comes a little late, I had a similar problem some time ago, but managed to find a hyundai plug from Supercheap that matched exaclty the landrover eurovox stereo.
