    Defender 130 Crew Cab Tray Length.

    New to the forum today. Can anyone tell me the max length tray that can be fitted to the above, while still having access to the tow bar.

    Welcome to the forum. I also have a defender130 dual cab. A great beast for touring. Only real issue is its turning circle.

    Thats up to you. The formulae for how far it can overhang from memory is 60% of wheel base. So it can go out a long way, then the towhitch becomes an issue. Ask a tray manufacturer for exact formulae.
    Depends on the length of drawbar.
    On my 130 dual cab the tray is 1900 long and 1800 wide.
    The towball sits approx 100mm under tray. I have towed trailers with no issues.

    Saw one at last years expo with a tray long enough for the 6ft owner to sleep in. He built it specificly long enough for that purpose. I have the standard tray on mine.
