You talking about a thing like a tool battery, or an individual cell? Aldi, at least here, have bins for battery disposal, but only for cells.
Bunnings through PlanetArk, or Second Life might be options as well.
Are there any special or responsible ways of disposing of Li-ion batteries?
I have one that is swollen and cracked.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

If its a small battery like Tins mentioned, Aldis recycle them as well.
Bunnings Carsledine looks the closest.
Thanks for the suggestions fellows. If Bunnings burns to the ground on the weekend, I'm going to hard delete this thread.![]()

I have 3 to dispose of. I don't intend to put them in a battery recycling bin, there are far too many fires (over 10,00 per year) from dumped batteries.
I've been thinking of dropping them off at the local fire station.

That could get embarrassing, if the fire station burnt down.![]()

Just to follow up. I emailed SecondLife about some cells, and also asked about disposal. They recommended Bunnings bins. Apparently. at least in Qld, that is EcoBatt.
Good to know.
