    Series 3 anybody?

    Hi there,

I am currently working on the instrument panel...wires, wires and wires.

Can anybody tell me what funtions the switch for the windshield wiper has? Is it only 1 speed on and off (and my switch works fine) or is it 2 speed and push for w/s washer (and my switch is stuffed)...or maybe none of the above???

    Thanks,

    Thomas

A look at the parts book shows wiper only or wiper/washer switches were both fitted to S3, but no notes on which to what model.

Mine is, but I thought the dash was the same as civilian. I wonder if I would need to change much to put the intermittent wiper switch into mine. That's one thing that I really could use.

Mine has the combined rotating and push switch, but it's 1 click for slow and 2 clicks for fast. I doubt that intermittent was original but there was a time you could buy a controller after-market. Mine's a 1981 Stage 1 so I'd expect "top spec," such as it was.
