i've got JT2 33x10.5r16's on standard steel rims on my defender with a 3" lift and they scrub at full lock... but am getting offsett rims soon so haven't bothered adjusting the stops
a guy at work had these fitted yesterday to his 95 defender with a 2" lift
he has not had to adjust the steering stops and having a quick look it does not look like they will rub
anybody have similar tyres fitted, any problems with rubbing
he is off to mt mee toomorrow for a play

Not a chance without offset rims. even my stock 235/85's used to just touch on full lock on standard rims.Originally Posted by weeds
I run 35/10.5 pedes and 33/12.5's with offset rims no worries. Ypu will need minimum of 100 backspace (25-30mm more than stock) for the 33/10.5 and 80 (50mm more)for 12.5's (more for 35's probably).
Where are you? I have 5 spare offset 15x7's if you want to borrow to try. They have BIG offset (50mm)
PS, mine is 95 fender with 2-2.5" lift..
interesting as he said they don't rub on full lockOriginally Posted by moorey
i did a quick comparison between the bump stop measurement and the distance between the outside of the tyre and the flare and it looks they won't rub, i'm guessing he will let me know on monday
