TC Good in sand? I have found that when you are trying to keep up momentum in soft sand, the breaking effect can definitely be unwanted. Steep sand climbs, and deep long sand ruts where you are trying to get the speed up a bit are places where sometime it is not a help, more of a hindrance. Still correct speed and gear selection should usually get you through...
