    K&N Air Filters

Anyone around here who has experience in using K&N Air Filter elements? What are they like? Do they really have advantages over the traditional and common ones, apart from higher air flow due to bigger holes in the filter?
They claim in their advert that the filter probably will outlive the engine (which of course can be read differently...). And then, they are an American product, and my confidence in American products is not the highest, so to speak.
I am not too keen on doing the testing myself so I am interested to hearing about what you have experienced!
    Cheers
    Johannes

    Hallo Johannes,

Das Ganze Filterindustrie sagt "Schaum ist Scheiße". K&N ist Baumwolle, aber so Scheiße wie Schaum.

I know I drank a case of Germany's finest brewed and bottled in Melbourne last night but for some reason everything I read in this thread is in German.

Am I still a wee bit over or what?
