Thread: brake booster questions

hi all still on the dramas with my brake on removing old master cylinder the screw threads striped on teh booster so i thought ok i will replace it problem being when returning home with a second hand one it looks different i have tryed serching the net for part numbers to see if it is compatable my truck is a 96 disco tdi the servo unit i just got has a sticker on it with Lucas 76049151 then anr 2046 could anybody tell me what model this suits so i can change it if i need to thanks in advance

update hi all after removing my old booster and taking my new (secondhand one) to mr automotive it seems my new one is correct but the funny thing is teh old one i just removed they have no idea where it's from what brand it is or what car truck it was oringinly for as they have never seen one like it b4 so as it stands now once it all goes back together i should finaly have brakes
with new rotors and pads rebuilt front calipers replacement booster and new master cylinder it should all be good now

i just want to thank everybody who has replyed to my previous posts and helped out as i am sure i got mildly anoying posting same problems over and over once again thanks all who helped out
