    Body mounting rubbers

I am in the process of lifting the body a bit....and upon removing the sad looking mounting rubbers there looks like there is a rusted remains of a sleeve sliding up and down on the bolt.

My thoughts were that this was in the rubbers and gave the bolts something to tighten up on , but still allowed the body to move when sandwiched between the rubbers.

Has anyone noticed this sleeve or are they vulcanised into new rubbers when you purchase them ????

It is a sleeve and not part of the rubber.

Hmmm...thanks for that ... i suspected as much after talking to the suppliers of the body mounts.
Lets hope that there is one of them still intact enough to get a length off
