I was in a similar position to you 18 mths ago.

spent a lot of time fixing up the body and then had to decide what colour.

I had mostly green and white body parts.

I looked through a lot of l/rover mags to decide on colour. I wanted a colour other than white. but being qld I didn't want a hot colour. I chose zambizi silver. i went around a car yard on a hot day and felt how hot every colour was. this was the coolest colour other than white.

it looks good. however in hindsight i would have chosen white. cool easy to look after, and i would have done less prep as painted completely inside and out. also if i ever need to replace anything white parts are easier to acquire second hand.

good luck and contrats on picking up those 130 rims on ebay. you probably saved my life as i would have been in trouble spending that money.

I agree white is a great colour for an off-road truck. My current Defender is white and rarely gets washed.
I found the following colour chart
    http://www.btinternet.com/~stephen.hull/colour2.html
but it doesnt show the red/orange of the members post of his ?D90. I have the picture but not his post.

Red/white roof looks good. Hot barbie pink...I guess I would be fighting some of you guys off it with a stick.

Have to agree with Serg about white Dave, especially if to be used off road, won't show too many scratches.

    Morning Ron,

I'll do some screen shots tonight and post them in the general section...there's a sticky there I think?
