Portable Air Compressors - Which is best

I need to get a decent air compressor for re-inflating the tyres after sand-driving. Nothing flash, just something robust that will do the job - especially on the high psi rear tyres. I had big ideas for permanenetly mounting one somewhere (or getting an air-locker and plugging a hose in) but realistically a small-ish portable jobbie is probably all I need.

Going away on the week-end so I need to make a quick purchase.

    Compressors

AKAIC you can't go past a Max Air. Not cheap (but not really exxy), good performance value per $.

Beware the cheap imitations, apparently that's all they are and steer clear of 4$D shops as you should pick one up at your local camping store quite a bit cheaper.

    Cheers

I bought mine for $80 from Big W. It's identical to the Max Air one from Bushranger.

I bought it about 12 months ago and it hasn't let me down since.

    Cheers,

I have a bushmaster copy for over a year, and it happily inflates my 110 xTreme. I have not had any issues with it, although I am looking to replace it for something that is more likely to go the distance.

I will probably mount a boss compressor with a tank.

I've the same type. It often does 8 tyres in a row & hasn't missed a beat .
It's coming up to 2 years old now.

How do you inflate your entire 110?
