D2 drivers door hinge....aahhhh!

It's the metal strap that stops the door from swinging right open. It goes from the pillar to the door.
It slides inside the door when it's closed.

I think you could be onto somthing as this has been abused a few times with the door slipping out of my hands on hills occasionally:angel: Will report back once I find the damned knocking!!

first time I opened a D2 door it rebounded and walloped me a good one!!!

wonder why they changed from a
"stay wide open door"
to a
"have to hold it wide open door"
?
