    Rover Comp

Guessing nobody knows any way to work out which injector goes where without using the Rover comp? Mechanic finnaly removed my injectors but forgot to label them. They can plug my baby in once its put back together but they say they will need the beasy back together and in the vehicle to plug it up and that means I now will have to truck it to the dealer in Canberra before it can be started. At least they only asked for a case of beer for the work. He also has a mate with a spare TD5 engine I might be able to get fairly cheap so will find out on monday.

Except for this I could of had the bits ready to go in by next weekend.

The injector codes need to be programmed into the engine ECU.

    you could try guestimation.

put them in and try to start it... use a ir probe on the exhausts to work out which cyls are firing then resort the ones that arent firing and go again.

Thats a lot of work as the cam has to come out to get the injectors out.

I'm not 100% certain, but as long as you know the injector codes and cylinder locations, you can re-program the ecu once its running.
Think it may just run ruff with wrong injector codes?

Someone else may correct / confirm this...

They are driven by rockers off the cam its just their size and how it all goes together means the cam has to come out before they do. They take up half the space in the head
