Anyone else find this?

Yes John, these guys are getting pretty scared about public liability. Especially items that can contribute or cause an accident- ie everything

I managed to get something through the sidewall of one of my tyres. We repaired it with the rubber strings. However this is obviously not good enough to use in a ongoing sense.

I would like to get it repaired and stick it on the back if possible. It still has heaps of tread life left.

I just rang my usual tyre bloke and he said it was illegal. However a friend of mine has had these done legally in Brisbane.

Does anyone know of someone who will do a proper repair in Brisbane?

I've bought from them in the past. They had a good range of tyres.
