My cargo drawers and barrier

I had a look at this and the previous owner has drilled holes in the bottom of the drawer frame for these bolts however there are no bolts in there.

I just measured the outer body of the drawer frame. These things take time :D

The front edge (nearest rear door) is 1250mm wide while the rear edge (against the back seat) is 1050mm wide.
The side (starting at the back door) is 390mm deep, then steps inwards 100mm and then is a further 365mm deep before hitting the back seat. Making the entire unit 755mm deep in total. The step in is to clear the wheel arches.
The height of the unit is 180mm. This does not include the two (??) boards that are underneath the drawers which lifts the entire unit enought to clear the rear lip of the cargo area. This enables the drawers to clear the lip.

These measurements are for the base of the unit. The top of the unit incorporates slightly different measurements in the step in area so as to give a flatter base for your load area. It covers the wheel arches as much as it can.

No it wont!!! :cool: Decent impact will punch it through the seat, barrier and into you.

I suggest you bolt it down old son!

I am planning on bolting them down. The main reason isn't to stop my head and neck parting company. It is that there is nothing in the bolt holes so there is effectively two holes in the floor of my cargo area ;)

Don't suppose anyone knows what the thread type and size is?

i think from memory mine where UNF !! was a while ago though !! just goto a bolt shop and get them to try a couple of types.
