    Hi SpudBoy
You aint going to see anything, its all internal.Mine isnt mixing fluids, getting hot,its only used 1L of coolant in the 13 months Ive owned it,and that was the last 4 weeks.
Mine is going to get checked out on the weekend,I will let everything know how it goes.
I operate machinery for a living, watch everything with an eagle eye.If you do the normal check the oil/water before startup you will not pick the fault on my Disco.
I picked it up after driving up to Perth,I smelt coolant at the traffic lights at Armadale, stopped and checked my vehicle(bear in mind the smell could have come from ANY vehicle at the lights)There was a few drips coming out of the overflow pipe, nothing too unusual after a 160km trip,BUT the top radiator hose was blown up like a balloon,a fair sign their is a head gasket leak.
I hope Im proved wrong, but at 214000ks I guess its likely to be so.
