    Tyre Valve Extentions ?

    G'Day All,
Ive just put a new rim on my Dingo Camper, but Ive had to mount so the outer face is now towards the camper (Spare mounted on the Side of camper)

I relised if I want to check tyre pressure I will need to take rim and Bling LR cover off

Is there such things as tyre valve extentions ? So I can leave it conneted to the tyre and have the other end sticking out towards the outside so I can hook up my air compresser to top up ? Im guessing they would need to be about 6-8" long, and flexable.

I would prefur to make something so any ideas would be great.

Supercheap have just such a thing. It screws onto the tyre valve and the other end of the hose is connected to a remote mounted bracket. All you do is unscrew the remote valve cap and inflate the tyre. Bought one myself just two days ago for a job I'm planning to do. These things allow you to inflate a spare in the boot without unloading it.

Just checked mine, details: KC Spare Air Part number is KC500.

so....why all the headaches described above.......just inflate it if you need to use it....

i threw my spare on the roof racks three years ago......i cant remember ever checking the pressure in it.......

not picking on you....just trying to understand why all the worry......
it will only take a few minutes to inflate it from dead flat.....(if it was that flat)....

but now that i know about these extensions.....i will probably chase one up for the wifes falcon.....
she doesnt carry a compressor.....just a mobile phone......
    (and my number ).....
and the spare in that sits face down with the jack in the middle of it.....

No problem mate no offence taken.

Im just one of those anal types that everything must be 100% all the time and be very easy to get too, do up....just right. Yep so I understand what you are saying re "just inflate when you need it" but Id rather know its ready to go on straight away and to save time........sorry thats up me

I also work 6-7 night a week at times so if we have planned a getaway, I just want to go over everything once quickly (lights, tyre pressure, oil & coolent etc) and then just go. Less chance of getting called back into work if im 100km up the rd

Hence wanting a very quick way of checking spare tyre pressure, as new spare is facing the other way to the old spare.
