    Enginesaver Low Coolant Alarm.

Have just come in from fitting this & I feel it's worth a few comments:

    1. Postage from Q. to SA was prompt & very well packaged.

    2. Nicely professionally presented & finished with all the bits & bobs.
** Discovery 1 top hose cable ties supplied, are too short in one go, so I latched 2 together.

    3. All fitted together ok & I used the wiper feed to power it. Comes on with ignition & self tests the "buzzer" & LED each time the key is switched on.

    4. The rubber fitting supplied works well, & I cleaned the brass neck up with white spirit before applying the silicone.

    5. No leaks. Ignition on, alarm sounding as probe was still exposed inside the hose. Topped up coolant & alarm shut down as it's supposed to.

    6. Recd. the 10% AULRO Discount on the part only, not postage, which is fair enough.

    7. Fitted the LED into the lower RH blank switch location & was easy to get the cable through to here, remove the drilled blank & fit the lamp. Photo later.

All in all, a satisfactory transaction & installation.

As someone here said after fitting one, "I hope I never need it". Insurance really.

Good one ! Your LED location is better than mine. I might think about shifting mine there too.

Since doing that, Wayne, I have pondered (as yer usually do after doing these things) about the sun through the glass lifting it. I did clean & prep the plastic as much as I dare. Time will tell I guess.

Have to ask David nicely for some more if it does.

    Just had a brainwave!

A couple of light coats of glaze or clear varnish should fix that problem.

Goes to shed to see what he can dig up.

I know,I know, you lot were just waiting to see how long it would take me to suss that.
