    To confirm.... you want to put a DII bull bar onto a Disco I ? I don't think so.

    The Disco I bumpers won't fit a DII so I'd be surprised if they went the other way around as well.
    There was an article in October LR World about the scarcity of Bumpers available for the DII..........if the DI bumpers fitted...then there wouldn't be a need for more DII ones.....get my drift?

    Regards.

    Dunno. We are talking of bullbars, not bumpers.

    I think you'll find the chassis rail spacing of the D1 and D2 are the same - in fact, so are the P38A and previous Rangies. The holes may need redrilling.

    I remember measuring the spacing on my P38A and comparing it to an earlier RR and Disco 1.

    Jase has fitted a D2 bullbar to his P38A.

    I doubt there would be an issue getting them to fit, you might need to reshape the panel under the headlights or the back section of the bull bar to make it fit right, but there may be some legal issues if you have airbags.

    As far as i know all D2's have windbags so that part shouldnt be a problem, there was an ARB D2 winch bar on ebay for $250 buy now but of course it has sold already

    From what I've seen when looking for mine you can get 94-98 without airbags although they are scarce.
    S = no airbags generally (have seen some with dual bags and no ABS)
    SE = driver's airbag
    SE7 and up = dual airbags with ABS
