    Question Indicator Not Working

Help, i went offroad yesterday and after getting stuck on a steep hill (trip report and photos to come) the low coolant temperature warning light came on, all seemed ok with the temperature, so i guess it's a sensor thing, since it is still flashing this morning.
But on the way home i found out that my indicators don't work. I get no flashing on the dash or at the lights. What do i do? Where should i check first? And could the lights on the dash be part of the same problem?

Check to see whether your flasher unit is working correctly, plug is fitted properly, bulbs in Indicator units are not blowen, fuses are all intact actuator within the indicator stalk is working.

I'll second that, about the only thing left is a flat battery

check to see you get both indicators and hazards, I know in def (1980's) it has a split flasher ie 1 might work and the other want. Other than that ditto to what evryone else has said already.
    Cheers

I don't know which one you have, but imho I'd still be checking your coolant as your temp. gauge may not be registering if it was low anyway.

    Thanks for the help.
I checked it all out and found that the indicator stalk is broken, some of the plactic parts have broken. Will have to get a replacement one.
    Thanks again.

Ok just put new indicator stalk in and still not working.
The hazard lights work as do all the indicator lights. All fuses are ok. I cleaned out the trailer plug that had mud in it.
    What else is there?
    HELP!
