Don't Go the LR Poly Nudge Bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Tonto....
What ever you do DO NOT go the Landrover Genuine Poly bar.....!!!!!

I had it installed from new and had nothing but dramas with it, the bar itself moves back and forward heaps, and your lights will 'bounce' on the smoothest of roads!!
With the spotties attached, the weight and movement will be enough to split the two metal straps which fixed from the grille panel to the bar.
The number plate mount is basically screwed into the soft foamy plastic and on the first shallow water crossing I did the screws pulled out and the numberplate fell off in the water!!!!
Go the chrome nudge bar or fit a good quality aftermarket one instead and save yourself the hassle!

Good to hear that confirmed. I looked at one when I got my D2a and whilst it wasn't what I wanted I thought that was about how it would behave.

I have loaded some pics into the gallery. What I did is bought the headlight upgrade kit but currently using the 50+ globes. I did not want to have melted headlight reflectors. I have a decent driving light loom which works well with the Oscars. Coupled with the fog lamps its a wall of light.

    Cheers.
