    please help

    Hello all.
Can anyone tell me where can I locate the IAT sensor on a Disco 94 V8?
Also, my fuel meter seems to wonder up and down and so I can never get a proper fuel reading, sometimes the orange light appears and the tank is half full.
If any one has had this prob in the past, please help.
    Thanks March.

    Yup,

    march, been there...

    i don't know how mechanical you are...but...

if you are you need to remove the pump rig set up...

get in the back, lift the carpet and the rubber mat

once you've done that you'll see the fuel tank

if you want to go further, you need to very carefully remove the pump

very carefully! don't bend anything (and you're in an explosive situation)

if you get the pump out, just give it the once over...clean it up, carefully, look for the tiny miniscule carbon core wires and see as to their condition (you may need a magnifying glass)

if you get this far, report more

good luck and be very careful

(battery off, no smoking, no kids around and try and do this when the tank is nearly empty)

If you mean Inlet air temp sensor, The 94 Disco does not have one.
The MAF sensor automatically compensates for air temp as it measures air MASS not flow as does the old flapper.
The 14 CUX measures fuel temp to upply further compensation.
