Is there a standard rack? And I suspect there may be some variation in height for the Defender itself with model, suspension and tyres fitted - I know there is for my 110 from the caution given with the standard height of 2035mm (and I just measured the height of mine and it is only 2020 - tyres both a bit soft and tread 70% worn - but I know other brands/types of tyres of the same size could raise the height by at least 15mm quite apart from tyre wear and pressure), so I suspect the height of Defenders varies just as much.

...It also depends on the rack & what you're trying to do!

e.g. If you're wanting to get a stock 110 with a Brownchurch rack into a container, the rig is taller than the opening but due to the way it is designed you can fit through by reversing in!

Mine is 2.3m to the top of the jerry can frame.

    Not yet, but maybe soon

This is for my missus for work, there looking at a new work vehical and they don't want a new Hilux or Courier, it's a Navara or Defender so far.

Thanks all, it's an estimate only for now, i think they would use the ARB rack but others are possible if they suit there needs, getting it under the carpark at work is a must.

All I know is mine is to high for the garage at home even without the racks, but will go into most carparks around 2.3m with Rhino racks on.
