Thread: Installing window guide

Hi All

I'm now the proud owner of a $2-50 "glass guide" - the little black plastic thing on Defs that guides the window straight up so that it closes properly.

But how do I get it in?

it's about 2/3rds of the way up the front door window frame and there is a metal "finger" to secure the guide in place. Probably, you have to ease out the material the window slides up n down in or the other plastic packing/support next to it. But I didn't want to break anything n thought there just maybe an easy way to do it.
I was hoping someone would know how these guides are fitted.
