You're right there ak,
It's not the 694
(or the 389 from Bondi)
It's the 604V from Alstonville!
cheers mate,
GQ
(I should get a pic of the spare that came with the LR, a very strange Hankook, looks like a motorbike tyre).

i was just speaking to a guy at work that has just got back from doing nearly 5000km traveling the walker crossing, warburton track, K1 line, french line, and the QAA line. he fitted pirelli AT's for the trip and and couldn't fault there performance, he was driving a 100series. he usally only ever fitted bfg's but trusted the 4wd monthly teasting
he was travelling with a D2 V8 running michenlin sync i'm guessing, he stacked one, bad luck i guess, could only replace it with a toyo, heading down the birdsville he wrecked another michenlin, put the toyo on and it only lasted 40km and it blew, he put his other michenlin on to get to mungarani (if thats how you spell it) roadhouse and brought two brand new bridgestone desert duellers, no problems for the rest of the trip on the michenlin, he just had to play with his pressures and drive a little slower
