    01 Disco - Reverse Wiring?

Driving during the day, the stereo and the aircon/fan display are lit, come the the night and the need for lights and everything is illuminated bar these two. Previous owner been fiddling?

You've actually worked how the air/con heater thingy works????

    You're a genius Maggsie!

Nobody else has, but maybe you have THAT.... D1. The nocturnal version...

D1's have some rather grimy wiring in there from my experience... the funny thing is tho'... while 'things' do strange things nothing serious ever stops, just the incidentals, to make you concerned.

The irony is that 12v dc systems should be sooooo simple! But they're often anything but?????

2001- D2, the aircon/fan display is OK now, but not the stereo.

There should be a Red Wire with a brown trace from the radio to connector C0759 which is behind the instrument pack.

The Red/brown wire should be in juction/terminal 2 or 6 on this block.

The pics are not too clear but may help. I can email you clearer pics if needed.
