    td5 radiator

    hummmm?
had a small leak from front of disco so being the clever little cookie I am I went to check.
Now I would like to bet the bloke who designed this bit of the disco is part of the taliban mob.
what a p.i.a.to check for problems, was dam near ****ed by time finished.
first quick call to mr to check forspares.
Yep got one in stock (price around 600)****kkkk!
After finding leaking hose connection due to ****e clamp felt better. Also give donk a good clean with all that plastic removed!!
I fitted a low coolent alarm a few years ago but the disco2 recirclelates the water back to res so have to be careful.
    Anyway that was friday .
    Have fun.tracker

    Thats cheap for the radiator!
I paid $666 to have mine recorred due to the costs down this way.
Yes I did find the actual figure entertaining. Guess we know who designed it.

If your disco is auto, and if you haven't done one before, allow about 4 to 5 hours to change the rad.....

In the Disco2, the intercooler, the auto cooler and the A/C condenser are all attached to the rad!!!!!!!!! you have to even remove the headlamps, the grille, indicators and the horns to get it all out.

    ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Oh, and about $600 is right for a new genuine one. Was suprised by the Volvo dealer the other day, a new genuine rad for a 240 volvo was only $266!!

They must have really changed things since the D1. It took me 10mins maximum to get mine out and I had never done it before

Then came the $33 to get the leak fixed

Coolant came from the shed at work.

I think they sat a radiator on the floor and built the disco 2 around it. Would love to see how the later models are.
