Mate I have been running Maxi axles and Maxidrive lockers for over 10 years. The car has done club and comp work on 35" and 33"'s with a 4BD1T Isuzu pushing it.With a bit of care all I have done over the years is twist rear t/shafts, and recently the original CW&P (20y/old) in the rear let go. IMO when it comes to lockers you want to be in control of them, not them in control of you??

    Regards Justin

i would like to know about the maxi-drive axle that twisted.

    how many spline was it?
    how old was it?
    was it waisted?
    what size tyres?

maxi-drive have been making axles for a long time, since about 1983 i think. since then they have improved the design and the material they are made from. i would be interested to know the type for feedback.

    cheers, serg

Tuskek will need to confirm, but it's about 2 years old, I don't think it was waisted, 35" Simex in a Defender with P38 diff. It was twisted in the splines.
    Cheers

lokka said they don't make them. is the lockright to suit the D60 compatible with a County 110 Salsbury? If so will go get one from rockyroad.com

I'm not sure, but the lockright I think may replace the side gears, so you'd have to run a dana spline axle also.
