i will back your father as far as opinions go......
i think it is one of the better brands out there.....lucas also have some good stuff as far as additives go......
I have added Nulon for diesels to every oil change (5000k) and Nulon G70 to gearbox, transfercase and Diffs on my 95 300tdi ute for 50,000k.
The smoother gear shift was almost instantly noticeable, the rest of the drivetrain has been problem free.
My Father is a retired mechanic (A grade and instructor) and swears by their products.
What is the general opinoin of their products?

I have been using Nulon fully synthetic oil for around 12 months with no problems. Its alot more affordable than the Castrol oil I was using before.

I've never used it, but a friend recently put Nulon synthetic in his TD5 Disco when he did his first service (2nd hand car about 120K). He said he immediately noticed it ran much quieter and seemed to accelerate more freely.
I put Nulon into my chainsaw & what was left into my brushcutter ( you remove the air filter, rev the motor and squirt the stuff down the carby throat) about 12-15 years ago.
The chainsaw, a genuine McCulloch - as against what came after Black & Decker crucified them- is still going strong and I usually cut 7-8 tonne a year.
The brushcutter developed an ignition fault, but still has good compression.
I would say thier stuff genuinly works
before nulon there was a product called microlon its used on air craft engines. can also be used in automotive engines, diffs and gear boxes one treatment last 100,000 ks. only down side is that the engine must be run in otherwise the engine will seize. fantastic stuff last time i saw it for sale was in the 80's.
thanks turtle, i just checked out the microlon web site and my memory is better than i thought. i may just invest in some in the near future.
Snake oil, all of it.

I have been using G70 for a couple of years, and stripped down both diffs after detonating the rear CW&P. All looked good with no signs of excesive wear. Did the G70 do that, dont know, but it cant hurt. ( didnt stop the pinion letting go) but I have a funny feeling that the 4BD1 Isuzu and the maxi drive had conspired against the diff centre!!!
