Thread: Hazard light switch 110.

I swallowed my pride and bought a new one. I can't remember what it cost, but for something so badly made the price was absolutely outrageous, but it had come into so many bits I couldn't figure out how it was meant to work. When the interior/instrument light switch also disintegrated I replaced it with two separate switches half the width.

Interesting commentary on the blinker repeater light - After the glass on mine disintegrated, I replaced it with an identical Lucas item off an Austin 1800. This had been sitting in the sun for thirty years, but was in better shape than mine which was only about ten years old. Seems that the quality of their plastic has gone down hill.

I contacted Kev at KB Classic Parts. He was very helpful but he didn't have the switch. To get one in was going to $80. So it looks like I will have to bite the bullet unless someone has a second hand one i can get hold off.

There was one on here some months ago. I nearly bought it for my County.

It was a mate of someone still on this forum.
