My business (The Really Stuffed Olive Co) supplies caramelised balsamics, olive oils, stuffed olives, dipping dukkah, etc. I'll make up a thankyou pack for you.

Least I can do. BTW, did you see the pic I posted with the leak site pointed out? Getting back to my 1st post, is this a part that can be pulled down and serviced with a new o-ring?

    Cheers, Pete'
If it's leaking from the gland past the stem, it's a throw away. Get another Rotolock valve. The Heatcraft agent at Gosford is based at The Compressor Centre, 18 Dignity Cres. They can supply auto air bits and pieces. Heatcraft also supply SP34E, but you can only purchase if you have an ARC licence.
    I personally prefer Origin 34M.

    Hi Rick130,

Cheers mate, I'll take the part in with me tomorrow to The Compressor Centre and sort it out. Hopefully they'll have the part, otherwise I'll scope around for a York supplier.

This along with Ladas cans of gas will get me chilled again hopefully b4 the next hot days, due on the weekend.

Thanx again to everyone that responded and if there are any more suggestions or advice please let me know.

    Pete'.

Rick, sorry, but I thought the Heatcraft/Lovelocks guy in Gosford was at
4 Yandina Road, West Gosford - or are my details out of date

Ignore that - I think they moved/changed in 2005 - so I'll shut up now

    HI,

FYI, Heatcraft/The Compressor Centre no longer stocks York parts and they checked on their catalogue and York shows this part as discontinued on their current parts list.

Next I went to a bunch of wreckers none of which had one on any of the Sandon units they had.

Next I tried a few auto aircon outlets ( 7 in all), but the last one I went to had just pulled one out of an XC Falcon ( early 70's i think). Bloke sold it to me for $20.

Great to know that my only hope of getting a replacement was from a 70's Ford!

Oh well, least I know where to look if I ever need another one.

    Cheers, Pete'

before you go turning the valve, put a little refrigerant oil in the valve, just in case the gland rubbers have dried out.
