It is worth becoming a LROCV just for the battery discounts, you will save more than the cost of the membership with 2 batteries.
I paid my membership some while back to LROCV and I have never heard from them ??????????Originally Posted by walker
I bought 2 new batteries for the Defender last week from Super Charge in Moorabin.
$200 for 1 x Cranking Battery and 1 x Deep Cycle. The Deep Cycle battery has two sets of terminals, the 2nd set are screw posts with wingnuts, which makes connecting all the eye terminals on all the accessory wire easy.
I mentioned the aulro discount on the phone before driving down. I'm not sure he was aware of it, but he quoted me $130 for a $195 RRP battery. When I got there I needed something shorter to fit under the seat, so the main batt cost me about $110. When I decided on a 2nd batt. he rounded the combined price down to $200.
