One drop of oil is 1/10th of a ml (supposedly) and one ring, passing 1/10th of a drop will burn 1l(ish) per 100km, but thats the quote from my eng 3 book for oil leaking up past rings.Originally Posted by isuzurover
the easy way to check the seals on the top of the injectors where they seat is by adding some oil dyemark to the diesel and run the engine with the cover off, ensure the oil is clean (change it if you have to) and you will see it change colour around the injector with the leaking seal.
