    ARB o-ring housing help.

got a new o-ring kit in from arb, it came with a new slip housing (see pic on right). got me stuffed how its meant to fit. The sales guy said they redesigned it to eliminate assembly errors that caused air leaks.

How big a deal is the new design? I'm thinking of just using the new seals in the old slip housing. any thoughts?

Assuming it works like the Diffs in cassowary (the 1.7mill army 6x burnout/recruiting wagon that cant climb a 10% grade without stalling or launching)

if your going to pull the diff down so far as to be able to replace the orings that kit is ment to replace youve pulled it down far enough to fit the kit...

    might as well fit it.

    Fit the new improved component.

Replacing the O'ring will help, but the new part is far better.

if I can figure out how it's meant to fit - I'll use the new unit, But it has me stumped. (talk on outers that the new unit can't be retrofitted to the old style rd03?) dunno.
