    Ace suspension.....

My D2 has 120,000 service coming up and it has the Ace suspension to be looked at. The filter needs to be changed and the fluid to be topped up or flushed.

According to the Rave CD I need to have Testbook to service the Ace.

    Is this right?

Has anyone successfully changed the filter & fluid?

    Cheers.
    Lyndon.

Yup, Testbook/Rovacom/Autologic is required to BLEED the system, as it must fully stroke the rams to achieve this. The only part of the system that doesent need bleeding like this is the pump and reservoir. If air enters the valve block, IE filter change, it can cause lots of noises etc and cause system performance to drop off, possibly inducing a fault code in the ACE ecu.
I know its a pain, but thats modern electronic/hydraulic systems for you.
If you are careful and quick you may be able to change filter in bottom of valve block without an air ingress problem, but I've never been able to.

Time to buy yourself a Rovacom Lite with the appropriate software modules me thinks...

Is rovacom Lite available just like any other CD program or is it sold as a complete package ?
Who sells it and what are the price options?
