    Diff Lock vacuum switch LT95

    I have a Land Rover 110 with the LT95 4spd gearbox. The transfer diff is locked by pulling the actuator situated on the seatbox above transmission tunnel. Does this switch/activator have a rubber grommet? If so any part numbers?

    Do you mean like a boot/surround.....like around the shifters and handbrake?.....OR an INTERNAL grommet/seal in the switch/actuator?

    the county 110 v 8 parts book doesn't show any grommet.

    Grommet external boot to keep the dust out of the cab.

    I couldn't find it at the LRover dealers 110 part book either. I would think there must be a dust cover. Maybe listed in a Range Rover part book?

    Anyone with the LT95 fitted from factory who can let me know if a dust cover was fitted? Thanks,

    Mine doesn't on the County. It bolts up flush wth the seat box.

    I just had a look at a mate's RR Classic with the LT95 set up......NO boot/grommet just leather/vinyl trim around hole in carpet and very thick underfelt/soundproofing through which the knob pokes through very tightly, from where it's bolted to trans. tunnel..........hope that helps?

    The gear lever boot has a hole for the diff lock lever (on my Rangie).

    The Stage 1 has a large grommet. which I found too hard to reinstate after removing and repairing switch. Don't know about County though.

    Yeah, but with a LT95 gearbox/transfer case , the diff locker is controlled by a vacuum control with just a stubby little knob that you push/pull for on/off - NOT a seperate lever OR a combined with Hi/Lo selector lever.
