    Question D-i-y Seat Re-covering?

I've seen adverts in UK magazines for replacement "skins" for the upholstery in Series and Defenders and RR Classics and Discos that you can fit yourself after taking out seats and removing old upholstery skins.......

......Question is, does anyone know if you can get that sort of thing here in Oz?????????

My fairly close to base level Disco1 with cheap and flimsy fabric BADLY needs new covers......leather would be nice.

As always, labour involved in removal and replacement of seats and R/R skin covers is much the largest cost component of the job......I thought I'd give myself a substantial discount on my labour.....if not do it for free for me!.......or maybe get some RR Classic Vogue SE electric heated power seats and recovered would be more comfortable than the very basic pews it's got.

    Hi Byron,
I purchased rear covers from these guys in Tasmania, web address www.british4wd.com for my Disco11, a tough fit but fully waterproof and tough, kidproof! and I think a good price.
