Hi Maggot4x4, I would start by checking ALL your earth connections and see if that is the problem.
Cheers
Ok, I have a problem that I could really use some help with. This has only started in the last few days. It has happened before but I would like to fix it once and for all (Fixed itself last time)
The problem I have is whenever I put the highbeam on the power to the injector rack vanishes causing the truck to stall. It is starting to get really annoying.
On top of that, the spotties are now not working dispite having power to them (Lightforce HID's).
Please ask any questions and I will answer tham as i don't know what is relevant.

I am assuming you are talking about your Isuzu. If so you mention the injector rack relay which I assume is the shut off motor or similar??.
Your problems sound very much like a bad earth. You mention you have power to your spot lights, but do they have a good earth. By the look of your photos there is a bit of salt water corrosion which could be the cause. Run a cable from the negative on your battery and test each relay one at a time using your direct earth.
Hope this helps
Justin
My initial thought is that the injection rack relay earth is somehow earthing through your spotlights. So when you flick on your spotlights your injection rack relay loses its earth and it shuts down.
If it sometimes fixes itself then I'm guessing that the injection rack relay earth is connected but it is loose or dirty. I'd give all the earths a good clean up. That includes cleaning any bolt areas that hold the bracket to the body if the earths are on the bracket.
EDIT: Sorry just reread your post. Substitute spotlight above with high beam. Your spotlight problem is possibly another bad earth or dodgy connection somewhere. So as everyone else above said check your earths.

I assume your injector solinoid is the shut down solinoid.
I would run the shut down solinoid on a separate relay. Mine has its own relay. Maybe something strange happens when extra current runs through the relay to power the high beam. just guessing - don't know. Like utemad said it is probably activating the solinoid and shutting down the motor just like when you turn the key off.

Hi Ash,
I think that the power supply to the fuse box you have pictured is compromised, volt drop when spots are energized can drop voltage down enough to de energize the 'rack' . The relay you have is also maybe not good enough for this, as it is energized and 'switched' constantly, you may need to replace often or run a larger better one for this application. Basically, corrosion and loose wiring can cause all of these symptoms.
Try not to drive through the salt water too much!!
As others have mentioned, try and run seperate earths to a common bus bar, which is then earthed with a big wire to the battery - directly. Relying on body earthing in an old RR can be a problem.
