    high beam Problems

    Hi Guys,

I have a problem with the high beams on my 88 RR. All the lights work fine except when I try to dim the high beam - they stay on ( along with the low beam ). The only way to turn them off, is to turn off all the lights and then turn them on again. I have checked everything from the combo switch to the globes and I am stumped. my guess is the switch is buggered?? Any ideas? Im no expert with this electrickery stuff.....

    Cheers

    Brent

In my view - most electrical faults start with poor earths.

Got to agree with ladas on that one. Most of the annoying lecky problems arise from a crook earth. If it is fried, the smell will tell. No obvious sign of burned electrical things? Go straight to the earthing system.

    Shorty.
