    Defender window knobs

    Hi all,

    Just wondering if someone can tell me where to get the black plastic base ring from that sits at the base of the window winder?

    Also where could I get the metal clip from that holds the handle on?

    Just in case anyone else is interested I managed to track down the part numbers and prices:

    BTR6620PMA – Escutcheon - $1.80 inc GST (black base plate ring)

    BNP4556L – Clip - $7.95 inc GST (metal clip)

    I can't believe it's $7.95 for a little metal clip!

    Just found out that if I order it from the UK the round base plate is 50 pence and the clip is about 1 pound.

    the clip from some other make should be the same.....head to your nearest wrecker and see what fits......

    to remove the clip all you need is a rag.......no tools......
