I notice running bio diesel that my 300tdi is a bit hesitant starting, particularly on cold mornings. I think it has something to do with bio being a bit less volatile than the standard stuff.

    just noticed your in wagga...

im off work this week, if your down my way give me a hoi and I'll have a sticky for ya..

or if your down this way on a weekend I could have an eyeball then too..

although Im getting a sinking feeling about oil in the harness or a fault code on the ECU The test detroit at work has this "fault" when the fuel pressure/temp sensor is disconnected/faulted... it will turn over the first time but not fire then providing you dont turn everything off the second time you turn the key it tries the injectors anyway then when it fires and gets past hot idle rpms it turns on the check engine light and logs the fuel pressure/temp sensor fault.

If it fails to fire on the second turn it hits the stop engine light and disables the starter untill you turn the ignition all the way off for at least 30 seconds.
