    Armour Plating

Hey guys, i'm going to make me up some armour for the fender, but was just wondering what thickness is the best to use?? has anyone had any experience in making there own?? I'm thinking 3mm would probably be the best, i understand the thicker the better but any thicker than this and i wreckon it will stand out and look a bit crazy. any thoughts??

Umm, do you mean armour plating as in bullet proof , or armour plating as in bash plates to protect the underside of the vehicle?

You have to really watch out for those stray bullets in the Alice.

I don't know what you've been told but the mainland isn't quite like "Da Hood" yet. I havn't seen "Da homies take someone out" with a drive by in a while now.

Ohhhh ok we are going to be serious are we!

What do you think of aluminium bash plates. I have one on the Disco and it used to get a pounding and it came through everything I gave it. It is a lot lighter, not that it would make much difference on Mr. Plod...I mena the fender.
