Hey fellas when i put my Defender in a hard steering lock it makes this sound like the tyres are rubbing on the guard but they are stock size tyres and i cant work out wat it is. if anybody knows look forward to hearing from you
Regards
Hi Mate
The "lock stops" may have been adjusted too much or snaped off.Look under the front when you get it on full lock in the position it rubs.
Look at the swivel axle housing there should be a nut and bolt to adjust to stop the tyre rubbing.

Check the steering stops and look for rubbing on the arms on either side. Mine does this and I just haven't got around to reseting the stops.
