There are two wires to the cdl switch in the transfer, if you manually short these out your dash light should come on. If it does then hopefully the problem is the switch in the transfer. If the dash light does'nt come on then it might be another trip to the workshop

I haven't tried the Hill Decent as yet.

The other thing that's going on is, the AMV CDL actuator isn't working.

When activated, with a little persuasion (tap with a heavy object) the CDL light on the dash doesn't light up anymore, with this i'm assuming the CDL isn't engaging fully and not activating the light, maybe.

    Any thoughts.

LandyAndy, i had shuttle valve switch failure- intermittent appearing every drive for probably 20 drives (on/off cycles of the ignition) it always reset after each drive and then came back on at a random time during the next drive. i have a nanocom and for a while i was manually resetting it, thinking the same thing as you wrote. turns out that unless it detects the fault as "current" the ign reset extinguishes the lights.

    Hi Robinson,
I get my three amigo's only every now and than. But the other night it came on during two consecutive small trips with wet roads. So we did a emergency brake test and the abs was still doing its job.
This sounds like it might be the pads ?
What ones should we be using ?

    Hi Guy's
I have the same or similar problems with my 2003 Disco Diesel.
ABS/TC/HD lights. They all come on as normal when i start the engine then sometimes after a couple of minutes running these lights come on and stay on until i stop the vehicle and turn it off. Sometimes i drive and they do not come on at all after the normal start.
I am tending to think it is a loose connection somewhere but i am baffled hence my questions to you guys.
    Please help.

As a thought about my post above regarding the ABS/TC/HD lights i recently used 4 low to pull a stump out. could something have possibly happened then as i think it may have started after doing this.
