Mick don't they work in conjunction with eachother? Therefore if one bag has a leak they both go down on you.
Hi Guys,
My SLS leak is getting worse and thought I would get some opinions, it seems as though I have 2 different leaks, lately the car has been dropping all the air out of both bags nearly every night (2/3) but the nights it stays up it only sags very slightly on the drivers side. I am thinking the release valve sticking open maybe the main cause of the total loss of air, and the driverside airbag might be leaky. Has anyone had similar problems with both sides dropping right down? I don't want to get rid of the SLS, but need to get it sorted.
Thanks,
Mick.

normally when my drivers side drops it takes a while for the passenger side to catch up, in this case it has been droping pretty evenly overnight and is intermittent
I would say the driver’s side air bag is leaking. Over the whole night you would see the air leak out of both bags. It will be the inlet valve at the top of the bag or a small puncture to the bag itself.
Check the valve fittings with soapy water to check for leaks. Spray bottle with soapy water it the best applicator.
May be take the bag out and pressure test it under water?
Just about to try the soapy water trick, will check the valve on top, but would the leaky bag be intermittent like it has been?
well theres sand in every other orifice of my car so probobly so!
drivers side airbag has some holes in it, there is a line through the mesh like pattern, the whole strip is leaking -probobly a bodgey bit when they were made, i have tried a bit of a fix job for a tempoary messure will see how it goes.
**** em off n fit real springs![]()
I bought a spare one from this mob in the U.S.A. Not that dear when compaired to the price of a replacement LR one.
