    Discovery wheels

Just wondered if S1 steel wheels are compatible with a S2 disco. Am wanting to run a 2nd set of rims & tyres for the road so I dont chew up my STT's. Thanks guys.

As above, no...... but if you have a line on a set for the right $$ I may be interested in them for myself.

I picked up a set of 16" steels on ebay for $300...they were brand new at the time. The stud pattern is diferent and the D1 had 15" wheels. BTW, before you go bidding on ebay, check to make sure that what they are advertising WILL fit your D2....NOTHING ELSE FITS!

Slunnie is right, the D1 has, like all early LRs, 16" wheels.

For the D2, you can fit either the 7" or 8" wide rims from a P38A Rangie. The 4.0 had 7" rims like the D2, the 4.6 has 8" rims.
