    Any budding auto leccies

In an effort to try and solve the continous clicking in the disco ive attacked it with a light probe thingy. I pulled out the flasher unit and probed the locater pins. With the engine off and the key on acceseries I got the probe to light up in one of the plugs for the flasher unit. Should the flasher unit have power running to it for one pin on acceseries. Does anyone know of an online wiring diagram for these beastys. (97 tdi disco)
    cheers
    Mick
P.S. Ive checked the connections for the indicators and trailer light plug all seems fine.

From what I can see there would be power with acc on via fuse F1 15amp, facia fuse box.

I'll dig ot the diagram and post it

Sorry the file is too big for me to post - 720 kb - and it should be smaller than 640.

If you still want it, pm me with your email address and I'll send it direct

Don't forget to double check the earth side - most electrical faults I have seen are caused by dodgey earths.

Will do, it seems from the symptoms that something is getting power when it shouldnt. ie, high speed soft clicking noise from the fuse block area constantly, same sound as when one of the indicators has blown. Except all indicators present and correct and when indicators are operated the clicking stops and becomes regular clicking.
