Ahh. I was starting to think it was a 4.0 to 4.6 P38A conversion.
To tell the truth, I think I'd have dumped the GEMS on an old RR conversion like that.

Gday,
I have had experience with Megasquirt. It is a true DIY system of where you need to develop the spark and fuel tables and properly tune it. Unlike other aftermarket systems which provide basic tables that you can finetune, the megasquirt starts with nothing.
I installed a Megasquirt 1 Spark & Extra with PCB 3.0 into a 1984 Toy yoda Hilux 4x4 with a 22re engine from a Corona "super response EFI" car.
It was fun.
I have just started sourcing parts for my new project, 1958 Series 2 land rover with a 3.8 Commodore engine, 5 speed nissan cabstar gearbox and range rover axles welded onto the leaf spring mounts
