I was wondering is there some were you can get replacement pins for the door hinges on a 2 door range rover as my drivers side door sits about 10mm off were it should.
    Thanks Tim.

is the pin worn or the housing/hinge it sits in.......?

if the pin is worn....its just a piece of rod that has been hardened so it wont wear too quick.....

if its the housing worn......it can be repaired also.....you can either get the hole welded up and re-drilled......

or....you can just drill it out a little bigger and use an appropriate sized pin to suit the new hole......

I tried looking for it but the search function doesn't seem that good.

We may need the chap who located the bushes at a bearing place to come forward.

    ....

    Found it! See http://www.aulro.com/afvb/showthread.php't=30714

Forum member QSDT may still have some in stock.

    No
When mine sagged a friend who ran the Cockatoo Island workshop, drilled out the hinges and made new pins from knurled Monel. ( your taxes at work)
Problem is that rod does not come in small enough diameter increase so I think he machined Monel rod down.

I just put some extra packing under the bottom hinge.
Doesn't fix the problem - just makes it easier to close the door.

The Bottom hing has two metal packers under it, So i might have to look into a new hing.
